Confirming Brian's response, what you are looking for can be done remotely (out-of-band) and scriptable using the web service interface (WSMAN) of Lifecycle Controller in iDRAC.  If this is the first time you'll be using this interface, there is a bit of a learning curve. However, consider its rich capabilities and how it can help you with your problem.
