OpenManage 6.5.3 yum repository posted

Hi Santosh,

When trying to update the firmware on a CentOS 4 machine, it finds the 
following available packages:

root# update_firmware

No handlers could be found for logger "trace.firmwaretools"

Running system inventory...

Searching storage directory for available BIOS updates...

Checking BIOS - 2.1.9

     Available: dell_dup_componentid_00159 - 2.1.9

     Did not find a newer package to install that meets all installation checks.

Checking SAS/SATA Backplane 0:0 Backplane Firmware - 1.07

     Available: dell_dup_componentid_11204 - 1.07

     Did not find a newer package to install that meets all installation checks.

Checking System BIOS for PowerEdge M610 - 2.1.9

     Did not find a newer package to install that meets all installation checks.

Checking NetXtreme II BCM5709S Gigabit Ethernet rev 20 (eth1) - 4.6.8

     Found Update: pci_firmware(ven_0x14e4_dev_0x163a) - 5.2.7

Checking NetXtreme II BCM5709S Gigabit Ethernet rev 20 (eth0) - 4.6.8

Found firmware which needs to be updated.


However, when updating on a CentOS 5 machine (exact same hardware), it 
finds this:

root# update_firmware

Are updates no longer provided for CentOS 4, or should i first upgrade 
to a intermediate version, e.g. bios 3.0.0, and then to the newest version?
