Hi Jama,

Good remark, I have now added the following to my /etc/rsyslog.conf file:

*.*@loghost


in order to log everything to our central loghost. Hopefully I will see there some more useful information when the crash happens again.

I'd suggest using remote syslog in such cases. If the drive fails where
the syslog is, you see nothing.
