idrac 6 express - r410 vs r610

Hello,

We have many PowerEdge R610 servers with iDRAC 6 Express. I have set
all of these up to allow basic remote web-based administration (e.g.
check status, power cycle, etc), and also allow remote text-based
login and administration through IPMI SOL (serial over lan).

I just received an R410 server, and tried to do the same. However,
while I can ping the address I assigned to the DRAC (192.168.4.22), I
cannot make a web connection or IPMI connection:

[matt at server] ~ % ping 192.168.4.22
PING 192.168.4.22 (192.168.4.22) 56(84) bytes of data.

rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 1.178/3.689/8.646/3.505 ms, pipe 2

[matt at server] ~ % telnet 192.168.4.22 443
Trying 192.168.4.22...
telnet: connect to address 192.168.4.22: Connection refused

[matt at server] ~ % telnet 192.168.4.22 80
Trying 192.168.4.22...
telnet: connect to address 192.168.4.22: Connection refused
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused

When I installed the OS on this R410, I wiped out whatever default
partitions came on the server. Now I wonder if that is where the DRAC
system was stored? This certainly isn't the case with the R610, as I
also wipe the stock partitions on those, and DRAC works fine. I just
assumed the servers have a special storage area just for the DRAC.

Can anyone suggest some hints as to what I may have missed when
setting up the DRAC on the R410? Or confirm that I shouldn't have
wiped the stock partitions?

Thank you,
Matt
