No, I haven't. But I suspect the same logic applies. I don't really want
to have to loopback mount an iso image on all my 70 servers.
yum is the standard mechanism to deploy updates on RH-flavour systems, I
have the infrastructure in place to support it and I'd much prefer to
use it over any other non-standard method.
Is there a problem keeping the repo up-to-date? Surely, that's a fairly
trivial task compared with developing and managing the fixes in the
first place?
