If you're choosing to not install CentOS updates, then you'll come
across problems like these. As far as I'm concerned CentOS 5.3 is
CentOS 5.0 with security patches.

I haven't heard of any on this list, but I'm not using CentOS 4 on any
Dell machines, so I wouldn't know. Yes, CentOS 4.7 comes with 2.x:
yum-2.4.3-4.el4.centos. But it could be a 3.x-specific bug, right?
