Dell + MD1000 / Dell SAN + CentOS

Hi All,
Do anyone have experience in setting up Dell PE server with MD1000 on Linux?

We are planning to buy one but we want to clear the technical details.

To the Dell PE server, does it treat the MD1000 as a normal device in /dev ?
so that we just mount it and use it?
