Subject: PE 1850 and 2850 blue front LED dead ?
Hi all,
This morning, during my daily trip to the datacenter, I saw two servers did not have their blue LED on the front bezel. It wasn't amber or flashing either, just off.
One server was not doing anything critical so I power-cycled it, no change. No indications in the logs either.
Has anyone else seen this LED dying all of a sudden ?
The LED on the back of the 2850 cable arm is still as bright as on its first day.
Should I start worrying, or is it only cosmetic and should I bugger my boss for replacing these boxes ?
I wouldn't bugger your boss unless it's a female ;)
