Multiple PowerEdge connected to MD3000

Hi everyone.

We have a setup for our solution with 2 PowerEdge connected (through  
SAS5/E) to an MD3000 with 2 dual port controller. One server is  
mirrored to the other one and set as a backup system if the active one  
fails.

What I want to do is connecting both server and set up a load  
balancing but I'm afraid of what would happen with the file system on  
the MD3000 if both servers have the same partition mounted at the same  
time. File system is ext3 and it is centOS 5 on the servers.

Any suggestions? Is it possible? Eventually after changing the file  
system?
