Virtual Media Plug-in failure with Firefox 3.0.10 Linux

Has anyone encountered this issue?

Clicking on the Media tab of the DRAC5 Web interface leads to the Manual
installation procedure for the rac5vm plugin. When this is started, I
get a popup window with the message 

"Firefox could not install the file at
https://HOSTNAME/plugins/vm/rac5vm.xpi

because: Install script not found
-204"

Version: Remote Access Controller 5 (DRAC 5) 
Version 1.40
