Dell offer to you only some standard configuration. You must do it
yourself!
I googled for you. In the follow links you can find the answers to all
your questions and more.
Don't worry about the factory array configuration. You can destroy and
rebuild it as you like.
It's very important for performance and security of your data make a
perfect array and ctrl cache configuration.
I'm a Debian user and when I setup up a new DELL server with a Perc
raid ctrl, first make the array myself and after load my OS.
You will buy the server with all disks you need plus one or more extra
disks for a global or dedicated spare. After this, you must learn
reading the manuals.
