Going from 5.2 to 5.3 is not an upgrade, as it's not a new release, as
5.0 to 6.0 would be.  The dot release is simply a snapshot in time for
updates, no different than any of the normal updates that come through.
 We've brought countless 5.2 installs to 5.3 with no ill effects.
