DRAC on R710: serial console

We've recently got a group of poweredge R710s instead of the 2950s
we've been using. I have a few questions about some of the problems
I've met.
Is there documentation online for the DRAC in these machines? It
doesn't quite work like the 2950 one.
There doesn't seem to be a connect command. Can I connect to the
serial connection as I used to (connect com2), or is this no longer
supported?
I'm using Linux on these machines. Is there any way to send
Alt-SysRQ codes to them as there was on some older DRACs? There is
an Alt-SysRQ item on the menu for the emulated console via a web
browser, but it doesn't work with the Alt-SysRQ codes.
On the 2950s I passed the options 'console=tty0 console=ttyS1,57600n8'
to the kernel at boot time, and I could see the messages when the
system booted, but this no longer works. What should be the new
recommended options?
I have a getty on ttyS1 which works after a normal boot, but I used
to be able to boot in single user mode and connect to the console, but
thus no longer works. What needs to change?
Advice gratefully received.
