Unsupported DIMM RAID DIMM

I have another SA who took the RAID memory out of a 2850 and when he put
it back the box gives a "Unsupported DIMM detected in the RAID DIMM
slot" message.  How do we get that 2850 working again?

 

I've read the docs about installing the RAID DIMM and RAID key, but do I
need to install software for the Perc controller to get these boxes to
boot?
