Troubleshooting an R900 with ESXi

What's the ESXi version running on your system?

You can see the health status of each component when you connect the
system using VI Client (  Management application provided by Vmware ).
Connect the ESXi system using VI Client. Navigate to configuration tab.
There  you can see health status tab where it shows the health status of
different hardware components.

What's the issue are you facing?

Thought as much., Cant install OMSA on them anyways (they also only have
about 60M free space regardless)

So is there any way of checking hardware on an ESXi host while it is
online?

The functionality to run diags/dset isn't available in ESXi.  Busybox
doesn't support dset/online diags.  OMSA 6.0.3 should allow reporting,
but not diags.
