With OMSA installed, you can check the condition of the physical drives
with:
# omreport storage pdisk controller=X
where 'X' is the controller index number starting at 0. Once you know the
physical disk ID of the dead drive, you can make it blink with:
# omconfig storage pdisk action=blink controller=X
pdisk=<connector:encloserID:portID>
-B

Subject: determine physical drive (dead in raid)
Is there a dell utility, or way to determine which drive is dead physically
in a raid? On some other servers I had, you could make the drive light
blink, etc... so you know which one to yank.
It is a Dell 1850.
