content of the lcd display

Hello,

I have some issues with one of my servers, its error led is blinking
orange but the actual error is hiding before my eyes.

The hotline guy asked if the small lcd display at the front would show
some error code. Unfortunatly the display is broken..

I have a small shell script that writes the current load to the display
of another server. My question, is it possible somehow to read the current
content of the display using a command like omconfig or ipmitool?
