There's a newer version at Broadcom (1.8.2b), which packs a new firmware. It
may be worth the upgrade. I had a *lot* of kernel panics with earlier versions
on PE1950s, under high traffic load. At the time, I found out that the Dell
provided version (1.7.1c) was stable enough for our usage, but I guess that
YMMV...
