Hi.
 I have Poweredge 2500.

Is it legal to install VMware ESXI (free for business and personal
use) on it and Run multiple Open Source Linux OS es?

THIS MACHINE CAME ORIGINALLY WITH WINDOWS 2000 SERVER.

I read MS EULA and it states basically in it that you can not legally
separate OS and Hardware from such machine.!!!!!! Is this Right?

-This is nice Poweredge 2500, 2x xeon 1.13 GH Tul,1.5 gb ram 3x 18gb
SCSI in raid 5........
I replaced all fans in power supplies. So this machine is
quiet,upgraded the RAM,added second CPU,added hard drives.
This is clean,nice machine.With all original parts.Like
cd-rom,floppy,tape backup,3 redundant power supplies,hd blanks.....

I run esxi and linux on it for while now and I like to pass it on to someone.
I learned lot about such configuration and it can be useful and
productive to somebody .

I plane to sell it to get my money back out of it.And I like to make
sure that if I pre-install ESXi and/or Linux on it that it is going
to be legal.

What do you think?
