Try using alien to convert the .rpm to a .deb. You will find out really
quick if it's binary compatible with your version of debian. It looks
as it is mostly omsa, in which you should check out
https://subtrac.sara.nl/oss/omsa_2_deb I'm using this method of
libsmbios and a few other el5 rpms on lenny (which use a mostly
compatible libc).
Install the necessary packages, then install your alien converted
dell-pediags-2.9.0-267.i386.rpm package. *Should* work like a champ. As
most of the other RPM's are actually just kernel modules (and I'm
guessing you already know all about that since you are running debian).

Is there a version of pediags for Debian? Had a disk fail over the
