MD3000 -> SAS5 HBAs

Hello,

currently I have one MD1000 (10TB storage). I would like to get an
MD3000 with two PE2950. These two PE2950 should serve the storage via
NFS to our clients. The second PE2950 is for fail over. Debian Lenny
64bit should run on both PE2950 and serve the NFS.

Currently the MD1000 is connected to an Perc6e controller with debian
64bit and OMSA. The Raid6 on the md1000 is monitored via omreport
storage and nagios.

Is this monitoring solution also possible with MD3000 connected to HBA
Controllers with running debian lenny 64bit and OMSA?

Can I also monitor the fans, power supplies in the MD3000 with OMSA?

It's also possible to connect an MD1000 to the MD3000 Storage System -
Monitoring the MD1000 fans and power supplies also possible with md3000
and OMSA installed on the PE2950?

Have anyone an MD3000 with two servers + SAS5 HBAs and debian
running?
