Hi all,
I just subscribe to this list because I need help about some problems
I'm having with my poweredge 2950.
It happens randomly that I can't connect to my server using ssh and I
can't ping it. After reboot all is ok, up and running.
The s.o. installed is a Debian 4.0 with kernel 2.6.18-5-xen-686.
The NIC is (# dmesg | grep 'Broadcom')
Broadcom NetXtreme II Gigabit Ethernet Driver bnx2 v1.4.44 (August 10, 2006)
eth0: Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM5708 1000Base-T (B2) PCI-X 64-bit
133MHz found at mem f4000000, IRQ 16, node addr 001c23d70fa6
eth1: Broadcom NetXtreme II BCM5708 1000Base-T (B2) PCI-X 64-bit

I read this link
http://mywiki.ncsa.uiuc.edu/wiki/Dell_PE1950_NIC_Firmware_Workaround
Do you think I should try?
Have you some ideas about this matter?
Thank you very much.
Best regards
