Virtual Disk Reconfigure Error

I have a 2950, RedHat kernel 2.6.18-92.1.22.el5, and I've added some
extra drives to a Storage Enclosure PV220S, connected to a PERC 4e/DC on
PCI slot 1.
When I attempted to reconfigure the RAID 5 virtual disk on it to add the
last 4 drives, it let me select the drives, but then it gave me the
following error:
Virtual Disk 0 Reconfigure Error
Possible reasons include:
- Not enough physical disk space.
- The virtual disk has reached the maximum number of physical disks
supported that can be reconfigured at this time.
- Reconfiguration is not supported at this time.
- Invalid configuration. (Please consult the help files as well as the
controller documentation for reconfiguring virtual disks.)
I noticed it allowed me to add the first 3 drives, so I did, waited for
the rebuild, then attempted to add the last drive, but failed with the
same error.
Has anybody seen this? I'm using the https interface, Server
Administrator 5.2.0. My next attempts will be to reconfigure directly
during boot time, re-insert the drive, and upgrade OM to 5.5 along with
drivers and such.
The drives I'm using:
5x MAXTOR 279GB ATLAS10K5_300SCA (0:0 through 0:4)
4x FUJITSU 279GB MBA3300NC (0:12 through 0:15)
The drive on 0:15 is the one giving me trouble.
Thanks,
Jorge
