Hi,
I use the following command from a remote Linux-Box (also works for Win):
impish -ip <ip> -u <user> -p <pass> power status
This always worked for me for PE1850 and others.
Regards,
Dirk Heindel

Betreff: AW: AW: Using IPMI for fencing
Hi,
i have now set up an ip adress and a password for ipmi. I also enabled ipmi
over lan. But when i try to use:
ipmitool -v -I lan -H xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -U root chassis power status
i get an error:
ipmitool -v -I lan -H 192.168.100.241 -U root chassis power status
Password:
Get Auth Capabilities command failed
Get Auth Capabilities command failed
Error: Unable to establish LAN session
Unable to get Chassis Power Status
Any ideas what i have to do that it works?
Regards, BiLL
