Is "pediags" useless for PE840's storage?

Yes, that works.

But my main problem is not just to get info about the storage.
I already use lsiutil (for mpt based controllers) and MegaCli (for megaraid
controllers) to do that.

I'm testing OMSA and pediags only for the purpose of hardware support calls
to Dell.

Dell support people will ask to use OMSA and online diagnostics before
dispatching a technician, and I'm worried that if pediags won't give them
the info they want they'll ask me to reboot the servers just for the purpose
of using the "32 bit diagnostics" from the diag partition.
