PowerPath

after rebooting my Linux server, am not able to startup the PowerPath
it gave the following

[root at linux4 ~]# mount -a
mount: special device /dev/emc4_vg1/emc4_lv1 does not exist


[root at linux4 ~]# /etc/init.d/PowerPath start, am not using device-multipath
Starting PowerPath: PowerPath could not load module emcpmpx

[root at linux4 ~]# /etc/init.d/PowerPath stop
Stopping PowerPath: PowerPath is not running
 done

[root at linux4 ~]# uname -a
Linux linux4.sdc.lan 2.6.18-128.1.6.el5

[root at linux4 ~]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.3 (Tikanga)

[root at linux4 ~]# cat /etc/fstab
/dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00 /                       ext3    defaults        1 1
LABEL=/boot             /boot                   ext3    defaults        1 2
devpts                  /dev/pts                devpts  gid=5,mode=620  0 0
tmpfs                   /dev/shm                tmpfs   defaults        0 0
