[OT] Help on Debian Lenny KDE on a Latitude E5500

I know I am OT but I hope somebody in the audience may help me.

I have a brand-new Latitude E5500 where I installed Debian Lenny with 
KDE. I tried everything but I couldn't manage to have my sound card 
working in a stable way.
I pray anybody with the same configuration but a working sound to 
contact my private email for any kind of help, so not to bother the 
mailing list.
