PE1800 and DRAC4/P

Good morning all!

We use Fedora Core 5 with a customized 2.6.16.16 kernel on a PE1800 and it
has worked great for years (please, no flaming about ancient software, I¹m
wokring on it).

I took a stock PE1800 that has been working for years and put a DRAC4/P
(v1.6 10.04) in. Now all the sudden when I boot up, I get to starting
udev and blow up. The messages scroll by too fast to see what the root
cause is so I can¹t tell you that right now.

My question is two fold:

1. Can I create of increase the size of the scroll back buffers in the DRAC
virtual console? This would be REALLY useful!
2. Can anyone think of a reason that putting a DRAC in a system would cause
it to blow up??? This box was working great before I put the DRAC in. I¹m
working from remote, so pulling it back out isn¹t an option for me!

I know this is a vague question, but I¹m hoping someone has seen something
like this before?
