First start to download ITA 8.3 which is the latest.
After that => Discovery/Inventory => Right Click => Include Ranges =>
New Range => add your ip you want
Run Discovery and Inventory for this machine and if snmp is configured
as well you will see your device.In ITa 8.3 => choose tools and
customize your screen that all grous you don't want to see disappear.

Subject: Add servers to IT Assistant?
So, I installed IT Assistant 8.0.1 on a Windows box, and I want to add
my servers... and there is no option that seems to do so.
I did see the ones to configure automatic discovery, but I do not want
it to discover a bunch of weird things I don't care about. I vaguely
remember a way to manually add one IP address at a time, which reulted
in exactly what I want... a list of the servers I want to monitor, and
no other oddball devices appearing and disappearing. But I cannot for
the life of me remember how to do that!
