OMSA 5.5 Does not see PERC Storage

All-

Finally got this resolved.  We got a clueful tech over at Dell who read an internal e-mail detailing the problem.

This server has 8 Seagate ST9146802SS drives in it with firmware revision S22B on it.  These specific drives on this firmware have a bug that causes exactly what we were seeing.  Apparently only these drives are affected for some reason.  

We flashed the drive firmware up to the latest ( S229 http://ftp.us.dell.com/sas-hdd/FRMW_LX_R168400.BIN ) and rebooted.  After that everything was working just fine.

Thanks for the suggestions Jeff.  I hope anyone else who runs into this problem can hopefully get a faster solution than we did.

Hi Jeff-

It works just fine on Windows so I suspected it was a Linux problem.  Getting nowhere with the Dell techs.

Any idea why this started happening all of the sudden?  We've used the yum repositories to install OMSA since we started using it and have never had a problem like this.  Since yum is officially supported is anyone else having these issues?

I will test and confirm and let you know.

This is the issue, the srvadmin-storage rpm is missing a dependency, one
of the other srvadmin rpms further down the list. Try removing and
re-installing the rpm now that the rest of the rpms are installed, and
the configuration should succeed.
