OMSA 5.5 Does not see PERC Storage

Hi Jeff-

No luck.

Same error during install:

WARNING: srvadmin-storage configuration not performed;
         '/etc/omreg.cfg' is missing or damaged.

  Installing     : srvadmin-odf                                    [16/35]
  Installing     : srvadmin-old                                    [17/35]
  Installing     : srvadmin-diagnostics                            [18/35]


I did a rpm -e --nodeps on srvadmin-storage-5.5.0-364 and then re-installed it via yum which went fine.


I had to do nodeps as the below dependencies were in that package:

error: Failed dependencies:
        srvadmin-storage is needed by (installed) srvadmin-storageservices-5.5.0-364.i386


Running Transaction

Installed: srvadmin-storage.i386 0:5.5.0-364
Complete!



OMSA started fine too:

srvadmin-services.sh start

The Dell tech we are working with wants to poke around in the system and install OMSA themselves which we are going to do next.

Any other suggestions?  :(

This is the issue, the srvadmin-storage rpm is missing a dependency, one
of the other srvadmin rpms further down the list. Try removing and
re-installing the rpm now that the rest of the rpms are installed, and
the configuration should succeed.
