Hi,
I would like to share something what I've found. This mail is just for
records as it took me sometime to find the resolution.
I had a problem with DRAC 3 and CentOS 5:
# uname -a
Linux centos5u2final 2.6.18-92.1.10.el5PAE #1 SMP Tue Aug 5 08:14:05 EDT 2008 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
Adding to kernel parameters option `i8042.dumpkbd' workaround problem
with Linux kernel which didn't detect keyboard and because of that OS
has no input via DRAC3
Here are important lines from working system:
# dmesg | grep kbd
Kernel command line: ro root=LABEL=/ nofb i8042.dumbkbd
# dmesg | grep keyb
input: AT Translated Set 2 keyboard as /class/input/input0
--
best regards
q#
