PE 1550 / PERC3 DCL / FC 9 ... no /dev/megadev0?

I am trying to get the utilities from perc-cerc-apps-6.03-A06.tar.gz 
working on a PE 1550 / PERC3 DCL / FC 9 machine. Each utility seems to 
be looking for '/dev/megadev0,' which apparently doesn't exist. lsmod 
shows megaraid_mbox and megaraid_mm as being loaded, and FC 9 us running 
fine on the mirrored pair. What am I doing wrong?
