DRAC : Unable to use it for OS installation ? is it normal ?

hmm, I haven't tried the new SUU DVD yet.

But I have updated the drac FW on the console via screen/ssh.
If I lose access to the drac cards - so that you cannot update the FW - 
  you can try to reboot the server and pull the power plug. This is 
known to recover them.
