dkms + megaraid_sas and kernel update

In reply to a a thread from july, I'm wondering what the status of this issue is.

As Rainer Traut mentions in http://lists.us.dell.com/pipermail/linux-poweredge/2008-May/036211.html, when the kernel is updated after dkms installs a megaraid_sas driver, the old (distro provided) driver is used again since it has precedence.

If I recall correctly there was a message 1 or 2 months later that Dell was working on it, but it seems the problem is still there.
