I've rebuilt the repository metadata on an older machine. Can you tell me if this resolves the issue below?

Note you may have to do a 'yum clean all' to get rid of the old metadata.

Subject: repository problems with EL4/yum 2.6.1

Hi,
since the OMSA 5.5 update I get these strange yum errors.
Anything I can do make this working again?
/Me wondering what people do If they run Centos4 with yum 2.4,
are they getting similar effects?

   File "/usr/bin/yum", line 29, in ?
     yummain.main(sys.argv[1:])
   File "/usr/share/yum-cli/yummain.py", line 97, in main
     result, resultmsgs = do()
   File "/usr/share/yum-cli/cli.py", line 481, in doCommands
     return self.updatePkgs()
   File "/usr/share/yum-cli/cli.py", line 957, in updatePkgs
     self.doRepoSetup()
   File "/usr/share/yum-cli/cli.py", line 82, in doRepoSetup
     self.doSackSetup(thisrepo=thisrepo)
   File "__init__.py", line 291, in doSackSetup
   File "repos.py", line 289, in populateSack
   File "sqlitecache.py", line 96, in getPrimary
   File "sqlitecache.py", line 89, in _getbase
