dellmgr doesn't work with recent kernels

Hi!
I've got a couple of PowerEdge 2850 servers with a PERC 4e/Di RAID
controller. I recently reinstalled two of them, and installed a recent
version of Linux, 2.6.27. Apparently the name of the drivers for this
controller have changed, from megaraid to megaraid_legacy.

But after compiling and loading the appropriate module, dellmgr won't
start. It does find the correct major number in /proc/devices, and
creates the node, but after starting dellmgr I'm stuck with the
notification:

    No Adapters Found.
  Press any key to exit.

This looks like the same issue as http://bugs.gentoo.org/233295. The
last kernel that surely worked was 2.6.24. I haven't tried any kernels
in between.

Is this a bug in dellmgr?
