This is what I initially thought as well. It's as if the slots done
even get power, or the system is blocking them at a very low level.

I just wanted a simple card for esata, so we can do mass dumps of info
from the perc arrays. The 3124 and 3132 chip are known to have
excellent linux supprot (including hotswap).
Basically, Its a silicon image 3132 using the current silicon image
firmware. Nothing "value added" or branding from AMS to be seen.
