[root at segw2 init.d]# omconfig storage pdisk action=offline controller=0
pdisk=0:0:1
Operation disabled. Read, action=offline
.Refer to the documentation for more information.
[root at segw2 init.d]# omconfig storage pdisk action=remove controller=0
pdisk=0:0:1
Operation not supported. Read, action=remove
Refer to the documentation for more information.
After that, I just pulled the bad drive, put the new one its carrier,
shoved it back in, and the green lights came on. A check of the controller
status shows it rebuilding. With any luck it'll be back to full speed
operation Monday for the regular work week. (But it didn't seem any slower
this week with the failed drive.) This is the first time I've done a hot
hardware repair, and I'm pretty pleased.
Any idea why offline/remove was being locked out?
