OMSA will allow you to configure your PERC without the need to reboot.

Subject: running Perc5/e config utility without reboot?
Hi,
I'm using Rocks on my cluster.
I'm planning to connect and use my MD1000 storage (10x 300 Go) and mount it as /home2.
Some calculations are running on the server and nodes.
Without reboot, I would like to access the Perc5/e controler configuration to define raid level and create disks space before to create partition and file system.
Is it possible?
Which commands or utils?
Thanks.
