Problem installing Fedora on PowerEdge R300

I have to install Fedora in a brand new PowerEdge R300.
I tried first with FC5, the cd-rom boots, and installation ask for 
lenguage and keyboard layout selection,  but then it appears not to 
recognize the DVD-ROM (which is sata based: teac DVD-ROM DV28sv), the 
message I get if I do ALT+F3 is: "got to setup cdRom without a cd device".

Note: I aslo tried with FC 8 and Ubuntu 7.10, having similar problem...
