Is there a faq for this list?  I didn't see anything in the subscription 
email.  Pointers welcome.

If there isn't a faq, or it somehow isn't listed, is there a fairly 
straightforward way to monitor array status on PERC 3/4/5 controllers on 
debian and suse?  Megactl doesn't cut it; once there's an error there's 
no apparent way to reset things without rebooting the system.  MegaCLI 
sounds horribly complex for detecting that a drive died and it's not at 
all obvious which download matches up with which Dell PERC.  MSM is a 
graphical front end to MegaCLI that doesn't help for simple (nagios) 
monitoring.

The descriptions of OMS I've seen online sound like it's pretty much 
RedHat specific and gross overkill for a simple monitoring application.

Tales of what others have done, suggestions of what I might do, pointers 
to TFM to R are all welcome:)
