Enable IPMI on Dell 1955 blades

We have a set of Dell Blades (1955s rather than the new ones) and are
trying to set up remote access to the blades via IPMI.

Using ipmitool, I can see the IPMI information but I cannot get at the
BMCs from a remote machine.

From ipmitool on the machine, I can see the IP addresses etc. However,
I cannot ipmiping the IP address from another machine. In the arp
cache, there is no reply from the blade. Usually, I have a line about
the arp generate/respond on the ipmitool lan print output but in the
case of the blade, it does not appear to be printed.

Any ideas ?

Tim
