Anything broken with linux.dell.com/repo or up2date?

No, thanks, Michael, I was able to solve it by redoing the
wget...bootstrap.cgi step and all subsequent ones. I was cautious about
doing this without advice, because I worried that the first
bootstrap.cgi script might have left something behind that the second
one either would choke on or leave cluttering around. However, it seems
as if it worked fine.
Thanks, again, for all your work on the non-official repositories.
