CERC ATA100 & Linux 2.6 Kernels..

This option would be much preferred over the one I previously recommended.
The previous solution was if the hardware could not be modified. Linux SW
RAID is much better than any of the CERC cards I have seen. I believe it
would require a full offsite backup of the server as well as some type of
live cd install (Debian Live Project works good for this).
