Examining the differences between the server that is working and the
server that is not, I noticed that the new server was running a slightly
newer kernel (2.6.9-67.ELsmp vs. 2.6.9-67.04.ELsmp).
So I created a new initrd with the scsi_mod option max_luns=254,
rebooted and it worked.
Anyone out there using max_luns, be careful!
Any suggestions or comments about this, I am interested.
