scsi_mod probing LUNs (again)

Good day, all,

I recently asked the list about probing LUNs through a qla2200 HBA. The
answer was adding:

options scsi_mod max_luns=255

to modprobe.conf, remake the initrd and reboot. That worked fine...

But, now I am trying to do the exact same thing on another PE1950
running RHEL 4, and am having no luck.

The device we are attaching is a Spectralogic tape library with several
tape drives inside. The host is only seeing the library (lun 0) and not
the drives (luns > 0).

Is there a way to enable debugging for scsi_mod to see what is going
wrong? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks for any help,

Grant
