OMSA 5.4

I'm running a PowerEdge 2650 (don't laugh) with RHEL 5.2 32-bit (fully
updated). I've bootstrap.cgi'd the repositiories and done

  yum install srvadmin-base srvadmin-storage

Unfortunately on

  srvadmin-services start

I get

ipmi_smic_drv: smic hosed: smic timed out.
ipmi_smic_drv: smic hosed: smic timed out.
ipmi_smic_drv: smic hosed: smic timed out.
ipmi_smic_drv: smic hosed: smic timed out.
  [some time later]
AAC:AAC received an unrecognized command [601].

and things like

  omreport storage adisk controller=0

return

  Invalid controller value. Read, controller=0
  No controllers found.

This is a vanilla install of RHEL 5.2 aside from having the most recent
kernel and other errata packages. Does OMSA 5.4 not support the 2650? If
not what's the latest version which supports RHEL 5 and the 2650, please?
Have I missed a configuration step or not installed something I should have
done?
