That's not really a question for a mailing list for Linux
support on Dell servers. Anyhow, staying bartely in topic, it
all depends on how much data and how many copies you want to
make, and Dell and GNU/Linux support several different ways.
I personally prefer backup to disk, and something like a PE 2900
with a set of drives in a RAID10 looks to me like a pretty good
backup solution for up to a few TB to backup, for example.
Since we are talking GNU/Linux, client backup solutions like
Amanda or perhaps better 'rbackup' would seem natural.
