Dell PowerEdge 6850 doesn't see all 32 Gb of RAM

I hope this is useful, and if I am incorrect.. please let me know. I
have not had to deal with a big memory system (2950's don't go that
far :)) in 3 years so my info could be flat out wrong.
Is this 32 bit or 64 bit?
With over 4 GB of ram on a 32bit, you are playing with all kinds of
tricks to see higher amounts of ram. For some systems, I know that
some of the ram can not be seen because of the x86 reserving space for
various 'bounce buffers' to move memory from the high to what a 32 bit
architecture can really see. The PCI can also 'reserve' space on the
system that might make some RAM un-mappable.
Some systems need to get BIOS updates.. others you just have to tell
the client they need to use 64 bit.
